Campus Cinema: Introduction
Campus Cinema is a flagship initiative of the Asia Peace Film Festival engaging young and emerging filmmakers currently studying in different universities and media colleges in Pakistan.

The core objective of the CC is to create a learning opportunity for filmmakers, writers, directors, producers and actors so that they can enrich their skills and content for a competitive production to the media and film industry.

Campus Cinema brings international best practices in short film, animation, documentary and music video to the universities with an all-encompassing teaching project comprised of:

  • Screening of selected works from all across Asia
  • Master Classes (A-Z of Filmmaking)
  • Mentoring and Tutoring Session
  • Briefings on Inter-University Film Competition
  • Multi-country certification of the Course  
Ground Rules
Selection Criteria
A Selection Committee comprised of the APFF selected designers will evaluate all entries based on the following criteria (though other criteria may be considered):

 

Relevance – Does the entry align with the theme and goals of the Campus Cinema Initiative?

Originality – Does the composition exhibit original design, creativity, and imagination?

Aesthetic Quality – Does the submission command attention? Does it display visual balance and color

coordination? Do all the elements work together to create a unified and appealing design?

Following are the contest rules:
To be eligible, each entrant must be a currently registered undergraduate, graduate, or professional school student (individuals or teams of up to two students) of any of the campuses.
Individuals or teams may submit no more than two entries (a separate Entry Form must accompany each submission).
All entries must be the designer’s original work.
Designs must be in .jpeg or .png format. When uploading .png files, make sure you have a white background.
Minimum file size: 680 pixels wide x 490 pixels high, RGB format 300res/dpi.*
No clipart or pre-made templates or designs that are made or used in tutorials.
All submitted work must be the original work of the entrant(s) and must not include, be based on, or derived from any pre-existing or third-party designs, trademarks, or copyrighted images.
All entries will become the property of the CAMPUS CINEMA. By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees that any and all intellectual property rights in the logo design are deemed assigned to the Asia Peace Film Festival. Except where prohibited by law.
An entry submission into this contest constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, likeness, prize information, and information provided on the entry form for publicity purposes, without further permission or compensation.
APFF reserves the right to modify the winning logo to better fit the needs of the Initiative.
The decisions of the Selection Committee will be final.
The selected winner MUST submit a scalable vector version of the winning design so that it is adaptable to electronic and print media, to reproduction on small and large surfaces, and to use in color or in grayscale.

The winner will receive Pakistan Inter-University Award.
