A taxi driver, A Yang, who is also a father, wants to give his 14-year old daughter, Mei, a remarkable birthday surprise. However, a drunk passenger ruins all of this. This passenger not only destroys A Yang’s plan but also makes them have a big quarrel, which makes A Yang almost give up on his plan. Eventually, A Yang plucks up and still keeps going on finishing the birthday surprise because of father’s love.
