Dhanushka Gunathilake has worked as a cinematographer in the critically acclaimed film, ‘Thanha Rathi Ranga’. It won him the best cinematography awards including Derana Film Award in 2015, OCIC Film Award in 2015 as well as Hiru Golden Film Award in 2016. He was also the associate cinematographer of “Sulanga Gini Aran” which was the first Sri Lankan film premiered in the main competition at the prestigious Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland
