Vittorio Cammarota is an Italian national who joined UNIC Islamabad in 2013 as Director. He has served as the WHO External Relations Officer and Focal Point for the Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Stop Tuberculosis. He previously worked in the private sector and for the Government of Italy. He has expertise in developing and implementing communications strategies as well as extensive experience working with the media, civil society and non-governmental organizations, particularly on health issues. Mr. Cammarota holds Master’s degrees in Journalism and Institutional Communications from the University of Rome
